I sent my final edits for Outwitted,
the second in the Sadie Witt Mystery Series,
and I'm waiting for the edit suggestions!

Beth's return visit to her hometown library was met with much enthusiasm from patrons, friends and acquaintances alike.  Her presentation was casual and friendly, but enlightening and informative as well. She gave a fun glimpse into her characters, their idiosyncrasies and storylines, and beyond that, clearly shared her love of writing and reading.  A first-rate library program!

Reviews for At Witt’s End
"Witty, warm, and wise, At Witt's End will warm your heart and tickle your funny bone.” Lois Greiman, award winning author of Unzipped

"...Not since Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, have so many quirky characters inhabited one book. A definite enjoyable read!” Jean Henry Mead, author of Diary of Murder

"Beth has come up with a fresh new twist on the paranormal mystery and a senior sleuth with moxie!” Krista Davis, author of The Diva Takes The Cake

"Beth's characters come alive on the page, and that includes the dead ones
.”  Sheila Connolly, author of Rotten to the Core

"Ms. Solheim's characters are so real, and such fun, they leap from the page! After reading this delightful debut, I'll be first in line for the sequel.” Cyndia Depre, author of Amanda's Rib and Oblivious

"A feisty older heroine turns the tables on a murderer with the help of a boy who sees dead people and a quirky crew of sidekicks, some of them deceased but not quite gone.” Elizabeth Zelvin, Agatha and David nominated author of Death Will Help You Leave Him

“Quirky, original, and full of heart. This charming cozy reveals the mysterious (and hilarious) arrivals and departures at a not quite of-this-world resort. Check in to Witt's End and discover a certain cabin you won't find in any guidebook!” Hank Phillippi Ryan, Agatha-winning author of Prime Time

What do resorts and funeral homes have in common?
Not much, unless you arrived for a stay at Witt's End Resort.

Welcome to my fictional world. . . . . where I invite you to dangle your feet over the end of the dock, cast a line, and reel in an enormous catch of humor, mystery and mayhem.

On my BOOKS page, you’ll meet the wacky characters who live in and around resort country in Northern Minnesota.  Most vacationers think resort country is a perfectly safe place for families to come together.  But it isn’t.  Murder is on the rise.  At Witt’s End, a bustling resort on Pinecone Lake, guests who check into Cabin 14 never leave alive.  You might also want to find out why a mortuary is located next door to one of the resort's cabins.

In Outwitted, the second in the Sadie Witt mystery series, mayhem abounds when Sadie Witt discovers skeletal remains under one of the cabins and sets out to solve a murder.

On my BIO page, you’ll learn a little bit about me.
